Jim Binder
Jim Binder is Director, Public Relations for The Options Industry Council (OIC) and OCC.
In his current role Mr. Binder is responsible for media relations for both OIC and OCC and a key point of public contact for information regarding the U.S. listed options industry.
Prior to joining OIC/OCC in 2005, Mr. Binder was the Managing Editor of the Standard & Poor’s newsletter Securities Week from 2000 to 2005. He was a reporter and City Editor at the Daily Chronicle in DeKalb, Ill., from 1994 through 1999. He is a graduate of Northern Illinois University and a member of the New York Financial Writers’ Association.
